Day 7 - Start Small

We have a plan for action. Now it’s all about establishing a routine to make our new behaviors and habits stick!

Start by taking small, manageable steps towards your habit. Instead of diving into the deep end, begin with a simplified version that is easy to integrate into your routine. Emphasize consistency over intensity, allowing yourself to build a strong foundation gradually.

1) Begin with a Simplified Version: Kickstart your habit by breaking it down into smaller, more achievable tasks. Starting with a simplified version helps you ease into the routine, making it less overwhelming. For example, if your goal is to be more active, start out by introducing a daily walk into your day.

2) Focus on Consistency Rather Than Intensity: Prioritize consistency in practicing your habit over pushing yourself too hard. Consistency builds a sustainable routine, making it easier for the habit to become a natural part of your daily life. You can then build off your success to increase your intensity and move even closer to your goal!
