Day 4 - Create a Plan
Now that you have defined your goal, you need a plan to achieve it!
1) Break it down – For larger goals, break it down into smaller, more manageable pieces. For example, if you goal is to lose 25 pounds this year, break it down into 5 pounds per month or 1 pound per week.
A big goal can be intimidating and often leave us overwhelmed and frustrated at the mountain we need to climb. Breaking it down allows us to stay on track by providing smaller targets along the way to help us know we are on track!
2) Set a specific time for your new habit each day – Performing your new habit at the same time each day makes it easier to include it into your routine and helps you be consistent. We’ll be talking about establishing routines more in the next few posts.
3) Identify potential obstacles and plan to overcome them – Think about what might get in the way of your new habit. Plan ahead to tackle these issues so they don’t trip you up.
Comment your goal and let’s get it done together!
